Wedding
bells and wedding cakes! Ratna and
Jimmy
celebrated their marriage with family and friends on August 14, 2004.
The traditional tea ceremony, where the groom and bride serve tea to
their elders as a sign of respect, happened in Downtown, Los Angeles.
The wedding reception took place in the inner courtyard of a restaurant
called Yamashiro.
It was a beautiful & sunny day, and we were fortunate to share our
love with our family and friends.

Trip to Indonesia 2005
Ratna and I visited her family in Surabaya and Jakarta, Indonesia. While
we were there, we decided to take a vacation / belated honeymoon at
the exotic island of Bali. We had a blast!!! The traffic and city planning
is crazy in Indonesia though. Indonesia is still a country trying to
discover itself because it has been under Dutch rule for over 300 years
until the mid 1900's.
Photos
of us
Well, here is the photos of us together at various places and occassions.
Usually we have close ups because we can't find anyone to take picture
of us together so we just do it ourselves. Birthdays, friend's wedding,
Vegas trip...
Yardwork
Ratna and I have a small yard, and we like to spend some weekends in
the back there. It is fun to plant a seed and watch it grow. We have
spent countless hours on the yard, and I think we have finally got it
to a state that we can just maintain. Like Nature, things are always
changing in the backyard. Register in our forum and give us some feedback
on our yardwork.
Home
Improvement
100% of the home improvement work have been done by us. While it is
labor intensive, we enjoy fixing our home and fitting into our designs.
Most of the home improvment supplies were purchased through Home Depot,
and the garden plants were purchased from local nurseries.
